In his 25 years as a business strategy expert, Andrew Sokol has advised
companies large and small, in eight international cities, on three
continents (and one island!).
His international resume includes consulting for management and staff
of Nike (Thailand); Yamaha (Italy); Oishii Foods (Japan);
Siemens (Germany and Italy); Kinowelt Motion Pictures (Germany);
Bristol/Myers (Thailand); The Crossroads School (Japan);
The Thailand Department of Water and Power; and others.
In America, Sokol has worked on campaigns for Ninetndo,
Bally's Fitness Centers, Banana Boat Skin Care Products,
and for companies in a diverse range of industries including:
automotive; health and fitness; hotel; government; and others.
Along the way he’s won awards and recognition for writing and
creative direction.
Sokol began his career after graduating university with a degree in Radio/TV/Film production.
His skills as a writer led to his being hired to work on several publications in Southern California.
His work captured the attention of local businesses and he soon found himself with a growing list
of clients.
Working with these small companies, Sokol began offering suggestions for strategic campaigns.
When his ideas proved effective, his client list quickly grew. This led to him founding his first
advertising agency in 1982. He hasn’t looked back since.
Though Sokol has worked for some of the world’s largest advertising agencies, he now dedicates
himself to his first love; helping small to mid-size businesses succeed.
“When you think about it,” he says, “huge companies can afford advertising agencies, public
relations firms, even entire in-house marketing departments. But who’s there to help smaller
businesses succeed? For me, after years of helping large companies get larger, I now find great
personal satisfaction helping small companies grow to become the large companies of tomorrow.”
Sokol currently resides in Los Angeles where he continues his consulting practice. He is also an
instructor for Quattro University's School of Business, a writer, and sought after public speaker on
the subject of business and marketing strategy.
